La Canebière

La Canebière is the historic commercial street in the old quarter of Marseille. About a kilometre long, the iconic avenue runs from the Old Port of Marseille to the Réformés quarter.

MuCEM

The first national museum devoted to Mediterranean civilisations for the 21st century, MuCEM (Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilisations) is a government project commissioned by the Ministry for Culture and Communication which opened in 2013. MuCEM is a destination for everyone where anthropology, history, archaeology, art history and modern art unite.

Stadium Orange Vélodrome

The emblematic stadium has hosted major sporting events (Tour de France cyclist arrivals, track cycling world championships, athletics and gymnastics competitions, etc.) and is now the home of the Olymique de Marseille soccer team. In preparation for Euro 2016, the stadium grew to 67,000 covered seats, making it the second largest stadium in France.
