Who can register?
The challenges are open to runners, with or without licenses, born in 2000 or before. Licensed runners must present (when picking up their race numbers) their sport license (FFA and FFTri) with a statement showing that a medical certificate has been presented. Other competitors must furnish a medical certificate stating no contraindication to competition running to be able to pick up their race numbers.
How to register?
All registrations are made on time to. It should take about 5 minutes, and you should receive confirmation directly after registration.
To benefit from the preferential start area, you will need to sign up for the red zone and send us proof of your previous finish times by email (email@example.com). We will then be able to make any changes necessary.

What does my registration include?
Your registration includes:
- Access to the Marathon Village, packed full of enthusiasm and surprises (oh yes!)

How can I be sure I've registered correctly?
Once you have finished the registration process, you will receive two emails:
- one confirming your registration for the event
- the other confirming your payment.
How does the Corporate Challenge work?
The Corporate Challenge is where employees in the same company get together to represent their company at the Fitbit Semi de Paris. Corporate Challenge is also the opportunity for the intern to tell the Human Resources Director that they really want a permanent contract, for Fred (the accountant) to explain to Jean (his team member) that he is doing a great job, and for Alexandra to run alongside Tom, for whom she has a bit of a soft spot. In short, it is an excellent team-building tool!

How to register in the disabled race?
Can I cancel my registration?
If you signed up for cancellation insurance when you registered
You must apply for a refund within a period of two months before the date of the event and 15 days after the event on the following platform: https://timeto.aonassurances.com
A supporting document proving your inability to take part in the event will be requested. If this is a medical certificate, it must be dated no more than two days after the event.
Refunds will be paid by bank transfer within two months after the event.
If your application for a refund is approved, only the price of the race number will be refunded. Any options you signed up for during registration will not be refunded.
If you did not sign up for cancellation insurance when you registered
Unfortunately, we can’t access your request for cancellation, refund or race number transfer.
The rules of the event state that “Any registration is personal, firm and definitive and cannot be refunded for any reason”, and “no transfer of registration is authorised for any reason whatsoever”.
Medical Certificate / Rules
Do I need a medical certificate?
Oh yes! Without a valid medical certificate mentioning “no counter indication to taking part in athletics competitions” or “no counter indication to taking part in running competitions”, you won't be able to run! Check out our medical certificate page on the website to be sure that yours has been provided correctly. Even better, to avoid errors, we recommend that you use our model certificate which is available here.
A copy of the medical certificate will be accepted. Your medical certificate should be made by your doctor. After examining you, he should sign a letter carrying the mention "no contra-indication to athletics in competition" or “no contra-indication to running in competition.”
How can I upload my medical form on my time to account?
To do so, simply log in on your time to account and click on "My Account" - "My Events" then "Upload a document". Your document must be less than 1MB and in JPEG, PNG or PDF format. If your document exceeds 1MB, you will need to compress it before uploading it. Once your medical certificate has been successfully uploaded, it will appear as being "pending" for validation by our teams.
If your medical certificate has been refused or if you didn’t upload it, you will have to print and bring it at the bib collection (it must be dated less than a year prior the date of the race and have the wording «running in competition », « athletism in competition » or « sport in competition »).
When will my medical certificate be validated on my time to account?
The validation of medical certificates by the organization will start two months before the race. You will received an automatic email informing you of its validation or refusal.

When will I know my bib number?
Bib number allocation will start couple of weeks prior to the race.
What options are offered and how can I get these?
To order some additional options you just need to log in to your time to account and go in « My events ». The options’ list will be available by clicking on « Purchase merchandise ».

Absolutely! To help you reach your goal, free training sessions will be offered.

What time does the race start?
At the top of the Champs Elysées.
Starting time handisports (disabled athletes): 8:06 am
Starting time others: 8:09 am
Where is the finish line?
At the bottom of Avenue Foch.
How can I change my starting area ?
If you want to be part of the elite, preferential starting area, register in the red one and then send us your performance certificate of less than 2 years by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then change your assignment.
If you want to change for the red to pink starting areas, you can modify your bib range directly from your time to account, in "my events" section. Once in your event, click on "Modify registration". You will then find all the information related to your registration and can thus modify your starting area.
You can modify your starting area up to 1.5 months before the event.
Are there refreshments along the race?
We will make sure that you get all the sustenance you need to get across the finish line! Refreshments will be organised every 5km. You can grab some water, dried fruit, fresh fruit and sugar.
Are there changing rooms?
No, there are no changing rooms. You might need to walk across Paris in your fluorescent outfit, but for once, this is acceptable. You can leave your (closed) bag on Foch Avenue and pick it up after the race upon presentation of your bib.
Are there left luggage facilities?
You can leave your bag for free at the left luggage facilities on the Foch Avenue, so you can run with a clear head and empty pockets. You pick it up after the race upon presentation of your bib.
How does the timing system work?
All entrants will be given, together with their bib, an electronic chip (in the form of strips glued behind each bib) which will be automatically initialized on the starting line and serve as a regularity check at various points of the course ( every 5km and the 21st km). A competitor not traveling on the roadway can not be classified on arrival.
Are there toilets along the route?
You will find toilets, near the left luggage facilities (Foch Avenue) and alongside the starting areas (Champs Elysées Avenue) . If you need to go during the race, there are toilets every 2,5 km from the km 5 to the finish line.
Are there pacemakers to help me achieve my goals?
Of course! In each starting area, pacemakers will be there to help you meet your goals. Just like cabaret dancers, they are easy to spot: they will be wearing streamers in the colours of your starting area!
After the Race
Are there rankings?
Of course! We don't want to put you under any pressure (promise!), but it has to be said that we want you to run a good time (a little bit of pressure never did any harm)!
- Individual ranking including all runners.
CORPORATE CHALLENGE :
- A ranking per team based on the number of kilometres run.
- Ranking based on average performance of the whole team's time.
Where can I pick up my medal?
The finisher's medal will be given to you at the finish line. Almost as soon as you arrive, you can show off your winnings!
Where can I get my photos after the race?
If you're not scared to see what you look like during the race, you can find all your photos on the website www.marathon-photos.com.
Are there post-race treatments available?
Post-race treatments will only be available for medical purpose (medical emergency, osteopathy or podology).
Where and when can I find my results?
Your results will be available on time to in the evening after the race.
Who will help me if I get lost on the big day?
Don't panic! Hundreds of cheerful, helpful volunteers will be available throughout the event. We will make sure they are everywhere! In particular, you can find them when you pick up your race bib, at the refreshment stations, throughout the race and at the finish line. They are there for you, so even if you are totally concentrated on your time and your stride, be nice back to them, give them a smile and thank them for their encouragement with a nod.
