How do I get my race bib?
To pick up your race bib, you will have to go to the Run In Lyon Village, with:
- 1. Your registration with the QR code (received by email and available in your time to space)
- 2. Your ID card or passport (and so what, if your photo is not very flattering)
- 3. Your medical certificate, if it has not already been validated by the organization in the “my events” section your time to personal space or if it has not been uploaded.
The race bib must be attached to the chest for the entire race (will safety pins that we will provide, don’t worry, you will not have to go to the shops). They cannot be hidden of modified. Anyone not wearing a race bib will be disqualified from the event. Yes, it is a bit strict, but that’s the way it is.
Medical certificate & regulations
Is the medical certificate mandatory?
Oh yeah! Without a medical certificate stating “approved for the practice of running in competition / or the practice of athletics in competition / or the practice of sport in competition”, it will be impossible to participate! Consult our medical certificate page to be sure that yours was done in due form. Better, to avoid mistakes, we suggest you use the template available here.
How to put my medical certificate online ?
You can directly upload your medical certificate into your time to account and ensure it's valid. Under your Run In Lyon registration, you will have the possibility to upload your medical certificate and make sure that your medical certificate has been validated. Once the "pending" status is displayed, the document will be pending for validation by the organization. You will receive an email once validated or refused. The file must be PDF, JPEG, or PNG and less than 1 MB in size.
What does "pending" mean after downloading my medical certificate?
Your medical certificate is "pending" verification by our teams. This process will take several weeks due to the large number of participants. You will receive an email informing you of the validation, or refusal, of your medical certificate by the organization.
Where can the regulations of the event be consulted?
You will find the regulations of the 2021 Run In Lyon by clicking here.
What is the Personal Accident Insurance?
This Personal Accident Insurance is offered by the organiser's insurer so that you are correctly covered during your participation in the Run In Lyon by Harmonie Mutuelle 2021.
It is optional but is strongly recommended.
As you may know, the vast majority of your usual insurance policies (particularly your car insurance, insurance provided automatically through your bank cards, household insurance, bank loan insurance, etc.) totally exclude any participation in sports events either on an amateur or professional basis, and therefore exclude the risks involved in your taking part in the Run In Lyon by Harmonie Mutuelle.
It is therefore important that you check the extent of the cover provided by your normal insurance policies (and the exclusions) and, if you are not sufficiently covered or not covered at all, you should consider taking out the proposed insurance policies by clicking on the link below.
This insurance will cover you if you have an accident whilst taking part in the event, whether or not you were responsible and whether or not there is an identified responsible third party. You are only covered during the event from the time you cross the starting line until the time you cross the finishing line or you abandon the event.
In the event of an accident during your participation in the event, it covers:
- Medical costs (within the limits that you have chosen)
- In the event of death or total or partial permanent disability (due to this accident): the payment of compensation (within the limits that you have chosen)
This cover Individual Accident is optional but highly recommended. It can be taken out in addition to any existing insurance you may already have or if you are not already covered. You may purchase the cover from the insurer of your choice, from your federation or from Aon, organizer’s broker, whose proposal (detailed notice and application form) can be consulted and downloaded by clicking on the link below. You can subscribe to the option providing the minimum cover for this offer during your registration for the event and other options by downloading the relevant form here and sending it directly to Aon (firstname.lastname@example.org).
