Who can register?
The Tro Bro Leon Challenge is open to everyone, licensed or unlicensed, provided the proof that they are at least 17 years old on December 31, 2026. Participants born in 2009, minors at the date of the event, must be registered by a parent or legal guardian.
How to register?
All registrations are made on-line on time to. Registration takes no more than five minutes and you will receive immediate confirmation by email.

What does the Santini jersey look like?
The Santini Tro Bro Leon Challenge jersey is available in XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL and 4XL.
Where and when can I collect my race bib?
You will be able to pick up your race bib on Friday the 8th (2:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.) and Saturday the 9th of May (7:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.) at the Tro Bro Leon village, on Audren de Kerdrel Street in Lannilis, and take advantage of the partner and exhibitor booths. Make sure you remember your start time according to your event on Saturday
What documents do I need to collect my race bib?
A proof of identity and your QR code (you'll find it on your registration confirmation). only. We will tell you later the date and place where you can collect your bib.
Can I have my bib delivered to my home address?
No, bibs cannot be sent by mail.
Can I collect my bib on the day of the event?

Is a medical certificate required?
You don’t need to submit a medical certificate to participate in the Tro Bro Leon Challenge
What types of bikes are allowed on the Tro Bro Leon Challenge avec Giant?
All bikes approved by the French Cycling Federation are accepted also electric bikes. Recumbent bikes and handlebar extensions are not allowed.
Is the Tro Bro Leon Challenge avec Giant a timed race?
No, Tro Bro Leon Challenge avec Giant is a rando tour which takes place on roads open to traffic and is not timed.

Is the road closed to traffic during the event?
The race will take place on roads open to traffic. Therefore, you must respect the “Code de la Route” (French Highway Code). Signallers will be present along the route to remind riders that respecting traffic regulations is essential to the smooth running of the race. Any participant who does not respect the French Highway Code will be disqualified (cancellation of race number and frame plate).
Is the helmet mandatory?
Wearing a helmet is mandatory. You must wear it (chinstrap attached) all along the course. Any participant not wearing his helmet will be disqualified (cancellation of the bib and frame plate).
What is the Personal Accident Insurance?
This Personal Accident Insurance is offered by the organiser's insurer so that you are correctly covered during your participation in the Tro Bro Leon Challenge 2026.
This insurance is distributed by A.S.O. acting as Marsh's Insurance Intermediary and registered with ORIAS under the number 24005109.
It is optional but is strongly recommended.
As you may know, the vast majority of your usual insurance policies (particularly your insurance provided through your bank cards, bank loan insurance, etc...) totally exclude any participation in sports events either on an amateur or professional basis, and therefore exclude the risks involved in your taking part in the Tro Bro Leon Challenge avec Giant.
It is therefore important that you check the extent of the cover provided by your normal insurance policies (and the exclusions) and, if you are not sufficiently covered or not covered at all, you should consider taking out the proposed insurance policies by clicking on the link below.
This insurance will cover you if you have an accident whilst taking part in the event, whether or not you were responsible and whether or not there is an identified responsible third party. You are only covered during the event from the time you cross the starting line until the time you cross the finishing line or you abandon the event.
It guarantees the following accidents that may occur during the event:
- in the event of death or total or partial permanent disability (due to this accident), the payment of a capital (within the limits of the purchased insurance option),
- coverage of medical costs (within the limits of the purchased insurance option), and, if necessary, repatriation.
This Individual Accident is optional but highly recommended. It can be taken out in addition to any existing insurance you may already have or if you are not already covered. YYou may purchase the cover from the insurer of your choice, from your federation or from Marsh, organizer’s broker, whose proposed insurance (detailed notice and application form) can be consulted and downloaded by clicking on the link below.
You can subscribe to the option of your choice during your registration for the event or at any time before the start of the event
- For team registrations, this insurance is personal and must be taken out, if desired, when the team captain registers for the event and when team members register; insurance can also be taken out by each individual up until the day before the event;
Can I cancel my registration?
There is no cancellation or refund of your bib. However, if you have subscribed to the options, you can still come to the Village to get it.
What happens if a rider withdraws?
If you are unable to continue riding the route (due to bike breakdown), an emergency number will be available so that you can alert the race authorities. You will be picked up and taken to the finish line.
Are there feeding stations on the route?
Feeding stations will be set up at established points along the route.
- 150 km road : 4
- 106 km road : 3
- 34 km road : 1
- 47 km gravel : 4
- 106 km gravel : 3
- 65 km gravel : 1
The locations of the refreshment points will be announced on the event’s website at a later date.
Are there rules I need to follow on the roads?
The roads will be open to traffic so you must respect the “Code de la Route” (French Highway Code).
What should I do with my litter during the race?
There will be litter bins at the feeding stations. “Eco-cyclist” patrols will be present in the peloton. Their job is to remind you to respect the environment and they will also take the rider number of any participant seen deliberately throwing litter on the ground. These participants will be relegated.
When will the rankings be published?
There will be no published ranking. However, your personal time will be available on the website from 8pm on the day of the race.
