County Kerry, in Ireland ’s lush southwest corner is extremely popular with tourists, centred around the lovely and lively tourist town of Killarney. Its lovely location on the shores of Lough Leane is breath-taking, particulary at Muckross house and Kenmare castle. A compulsory day-trip is the three-hour coastal drive around the Ring of Kerry with its spectacular scenery. Killarney is full of charming guesthouse and excellent pubs, many of them featuring genuine traditional Irish music. It gets pretty full in the summer but a trip to the quieter Dingle peninsula and its delightful little fishing town is worthwhile. BackAdd to your Save For Later
