Situated astride the Liffey river, Dublin boasts a 1000 year old history and is surprisngly small and ‘manageable’ for a capital city. Easily toured on foot, it has some fine archicture and historical buildings, tourist attractions, lively pubs and informative tours that cover its important legacy of music, literature and politics. The Dublinia exhibition, beside the centrally located medieval Christchurch cathedral is a good starting point for any city tour. Within a 10 minute walk is Trinity college, one of the finest in Europe, home of the famous Book of Kells. Nearby Grafton street is a lively pedestrian street leading to the picturesque St Stephens green. BackAdd to your Save For Later
